Ah, February, shortest of months.

He's a drawing Colin did of Yoda and Darth Maul. Not bad, especially considering that Colin doesn't draw much. Also, I love that he loves Star Wars too.

Gray was getting ready for church, and I told him that his shirt was too small. He did some hilarious poses to reinforce that fact. It was so cute.

Kate at her gymnastics class. It was a great little 6 week class put on by the city, and I think Kate missed 3 weeks of it. Mostly because I always forgot about the class. And I think she was sick once. I felt terrible about her missing out because she loved it so much. I also felt terrible because I paid for the dang thing and then forgot to take her. Blerg.

Kate earned a date with mom for doing something awesome. I don't remember what. But I took her to Rita's and we shared a monster chocolate peanut butter cup custard sundae. Yum.

Kate learning to read. She's getting pretty good! I was impressed by what she could do on her first run through the book. I love how proud she was of herself.

The kids had a lot of fun making Valentines for family and friends. I made some for Nate, too.

I got out the supplies and then spent like an hour straight just cutting out hearts of different colors and sizes. Kate and Gray WOULD NOT STOP. Even their valentines had valentines.

My friend from high school, Megan Baer Murff, starting this amazing company called Cahoots Fitness. You should all check it out. During their grand opening week, Spiderman, Anna, and Elsa stopped by to play with the children. My kids were so excited.

For Valentine's Day we celebrated with some Ninjabreadmen cookies and

Heart-style pepperoni pizza for dinner and

Heart-style fruit pizza for dessert.

The traditional Bitter Sweets Valentine cookies. I love making these. And passing them out to my neighbors. I probably enjoy it more than I should.

Colin just walked into my room looking like this. I laughed and took a picture. I don't remember who he was supposed to be.

Someone's Lego creation they were very proud of. Probably Kate. Maybe Gray. Or perhaps both.

Jude is adorable when he gets into things he shouldn't.

He is also adorable when he's messy.

Chinese New Year celebration at Colin's school. The kids marched in the dragon parade, sang songs, got Chinese names, drew pictures of Chinese characters, and did a chopstick cotton ball relay. It was fun!

Kate starting off the stomach bug that hit everyone but me.

Jude is such a good dishwasher helper. He can open it by himself, so I have to be really on top of unloading it, or this happens.

At least he tries to put stuff away too.

Kids with the flu. It was gross around here for a couple of days. So much barf. Kate got really dehydrated and stayed sick longer than the other kids because of it.

Jude wanted a special bed to lay on just like the other kids. We had to use all of his blankets. He just sat against the cushion, grunting and pointing until I covered him up properly.
