A picture of Colin's blonder hair. He used Sun-In to be more like his older cousins who were also doing it.
The next day the kids convinced me to take them back to Bartholomew Park late one afternoon. Since I didn't have to make a real dinner for their dad, I went with it. It is way more crowded there during the afternoon than it is in the morning when we usually go.
Hot dogs for dinner! It's fun when Dad is gone!
Colin came upstairs after he was supposed to be in bed and told me that his mouth hurt. I knew one of his teeth was loose, so I asked to look at it. I wiggled it a bit, and it bled, and he cried. Then I grabbed a wet washcloth, gripped the tooth, and yanked it out. Apparently it hurt a bit, but he was actually really good about it and only cried a little. And he was happy to have a tooth to put under his pillow. The Tooth Fairy was very generous and gave him an extra 10 cents for being brave, per his request.
Here are the pictures Nate sent me from his first full day in Moab.
The bighorn sheep is kind of an inside joke. If you know Nate, you know he loves Will Ferrell's impression of Robert Goulet.
Now I want to go to Moab too! Nate surprised me by coming home late Thursday night instead of Friday afternoon. I guess sleeping down there was so miserable because of the heat that they all decided to drive home instead of sleeping there one more night. (They didn't have any other activities planned for Friday, just coming home.)
