Their purpose in coming was to preform a yo-yo routine for Colin.
He wasn't too interested in the yo-yos, but he did enjoy playing with the Mr. Potato Head with Mary.
Colin was being so sweet the other day, lying in bed with me, drinking his bottle. He looked so adorable that I just had to take a picture.
Last week Colin injured his head several times. I think this particular bruise came from the coffee table. He also whacked his head in the tub and on my nightstand. Oh the hazards of growing up.
He obviously still loves his bath time. He gets so excited when we ask him if he wants to take a bath. It's nice because right before bedtime he gets so ornery and a bath is the best distraction.
Cheese! I love his little buckwheat hairs sticking up in the back.
I tried really hard to get a picture of Colin with the Mr. Potato Head eyes He held them up once on his own, which cracked me up, and then I spent another 10 minutes trying to get him to do it again so I could get a picture.
One afternoon my brother Seth was around and we hung out in the front yard for a bit.
Colin is at the point now where he'll sit in the grass, but don't try and make him crawl in it!
Sunday morning Colin discovered my brush. He poked and prodded that thing the entire time I was getting ready for church.
In the last couple of days Colin has decided that he doesn't need to wear a bib anymore. He tries so hard to get it off, and I just laugh and laugh.
Here's a video of him with the bib. He gets a little distracted by the camera.
It amazes me how much this kid has grown over the past 9 months. I remember when he used to fit in that chair.
Colin likes to play with his keyboard when he hangs out in Nate's office.
And here's what Colin's been doing while I've been typing. What a nice kid, playing quietly while Mommy ignores him.
Adios.

He IS getting bigger! New tricks every time you post! The battle wounds are awesome. Mason's huge noggin' also got injured quite regularly as he learned to move and climb. Part of growing up I guess! The grass thing is so funny. I wonder why some kids hate it so much. If I remember right, Rachel was one of those. mason on the other hand preferred the dirt and grass and leaves and sticks and anything else gross that he could play in/with. I'm sure colin will get there too. Adios!
Cute, cute tub pictures! It's a nice break that Colin has older friends that come visit him. He is so funny and he always has that instant smile for his Granny- love it!
I thought I already left a comment, but I guess I was wrong! Colin is such a cutie, I can't wait to see that toothy little grin of his in person. It will be interesting to see how he and Donovan play.
Thanks for posting, Kirsta! I liked the video of him trying to take his bib off best - made me laugh :) Such a cute kid!
I never did like that stage when they start taking the bib off. It's much easier to clean them when it's on the bib and not their clothes. If you figure out any ways to keep it on let me know.
Those battle wounds are no fun for anyone, but kids always seem to recover pretty quickly. He's sure cute though!!!!
