Swimmering and the libary

How cute is this kid?! It  makes me sad that he's growing up so fast, but it's been so fun watching him grown and learn and get cuter and cuter.

We went swimming at the Lindon Aquatics Center on Monday (I think), which is one of the best pools for little kids that I have ever been to. Hannah works for the Lindon parks and rec department, so the kids call it Hannah's Pool. Our outing got cut a little short because of lightning, but we still had a great time.

It took Jude a good hour before he was content being the water. Before that he whined and clung to me and wanted to get out.

Who's the linebacker with the sweet tan line walking with my boys?

Tuesday was the first summer reading program story time thing at the Springville Library. The theme for the summer is superheroes, and this one was about superheroes who don't wear capes (i.e. doctors, teachers, nurses, dentists, police officers, firemen). It wasn't their best effort. There were some technical difficulties, and I was pretty bored. But the kids seems okay with it.

Afterward there were bookmarks to color and toothbrush kids to take. There were also firemen out squirting kids by the park with their water hoses. I was a mean mom and didn't let the kids get wet because we had to run to Reams for groceries and meet my friend Bekah who was visiting from Missouri. Lenna let her kids get wet though, and they looked like they were having a marvelous time.
