ahoy

Ahoy and avast! Here be Colin in his pirate suit alongside his pirate pillow. He looked cute, so I took lots of pictures. Here are a few of my favorites.

Colin likes to read books. Well, he likes to smash the books into his face and try to eat them. Here he is enjoying one of his favorite books about Pooh Bear.

He's pretty darn cute when he's asleep. And he's much easier to keep happy when he's asleep. I like it when he's asleep. I also like this picture because you can kind of see his wispy little faux hawk.

Bath time! I realized the other night that I didn't have any pictures of him actually in his tub. He loves to splash and play and wiggle in the bath. Sometimes that makes him hard to clean.

This morning little naked Colin and I had a good time playing on the bed. I let him eat Daddy's sucker for a while ...

... and then we got out the toys! He especially like playing with the Bumble Lion from Granny and Papa.

This is my new desktop picture. So cute!

He also played with his Ikea dragon. I think Ikea is a good name for a dragon, but I'll have to run it by Nate. He's the one in the family that knows what dragon names should sound like. Oh, maybe Elliot will work, you know, like Pete's Dragon.

Next we got out Horatio the Hippo, who was a gift from Kelli and Grant. Horatio is very soft and snuggly. (Horatio is the name that came with the Hippo, and I love it.)

These three goofy animals are also from Ikea, and I love them. Colin does too. They're very bright (almost obnoxiously bright) and fun to look at. They don't currently have names, unless Gurgle and Coo and Phbbt count as names. (That pretty much sums up Colin's vocabulary at the moment.)

After he got some clothes on I set him down and he had a meeting with some of his jungle friends. (I consider dragons to be jungle animals, yes.) They had a wonderful chat while I tried to tidy up his bedroom. Baloo and King Louie attended the meeting, along with Horatio the Hippo, D.I. the Giraffe, and Gorilla the Gorilla. (Okay, the gorilla doesn't have a name either. I'll have to work on that one. Any suggestions?)

That's it for now. I'm sure I'll take more pictures over the weekend to share. There is a football game after all. Go Cougs!

I love your new desktop picture. It looks like Bumble Lion is blowing a raspberry on his his belly. Sorry, I don't have any ideas for stuffed animal names. I'm sure Brad can think of some.

Great pictures. Like father like son with the Bumblelion animal. Can't wait until he drags him around by the tail and bonks people with it! Has he rolled over more? The meeting on the blanket looks serious, he definitely is in charge!
