I'm still around 70% effaced and 2 cm dilated. Dr Porter stripped my membranes again today, which was most unpleasant. I think it's helping though because I am in a lot of discomfort right now from what I can only imagine are contractions. Dr Porter thinks the baby will come on his own, but I'm not getting my hopes up.
In other spectacular news, I lost a little weight and my feet look like feet this morning! It makes me so happy to see human feet instead of elephant trunks at the bottom of my legs. I think the lack of swelling comes from lying on the couch all day long yesterday (I was feeling sick so I didn't move much at all). I don't think I'll be quite as lucky today because I have to sit at work with my feet hanging down and then run some errands in the hot hot sun. Oh well.
I'll try to get some pictures taken and posted later this evening. I just wanted to get the quick update out there for those who care!

I obviously care the most because I am commenting first. I hope the baby comes on its own for you so you can experience the thrill of it all! Yeah, the stripping of the membranes was NOT fun. At least you won't have to do that again! I can't wait to see little Cleatus on the blog! and in person, but the blog will have to do for now. Take care and good luck!
I care too, I just had to get Donovan down for his nap before I could do my first blog check of the day. I don't really remember getting my membranes stripped, maybe I didn't. I hope he comes soon for your sake, but if not, good luck on Sunday! We will be waiting to hear any news!
Of course I care! Is your Mom disappointed that it will most likely be a June instead of July baby? By the way, Gina's birthday is Sunday! Definitely get it taken care of when the Dr is in town. Did you get your hair fixed the way you will be happier with it?
I've already warned my mom that she's not getting her July baby. I think she'll be okay. It would be fun for him to share a birthday with Aunt Gina! I haven't gotten my hair fixed yet, but I will this afternoon. Hopefully it won't turn out worse than it already is!
That's exciting! I can't wait to see him!
